Shift Type: Days, 4 x 9-hour shifts per week (typically 36 guaranteed hours/week). Day shift with required call: some weeknight call (~10/month), weekend call about every 3rd weekend, holiday call shared. Call response time: 30 minutes.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Circulate and actively monitor cath and interventional radiology procedures to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow
- Provide thorough pre-procedure and post-procedure care, including patient education and follow-up calls
- Collaborate with cardiologists, techs, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate case flow and patient disposition
- Accurately document patient care and procedure details in Epic and unit-specific systems like MacLab and Siemens
- Respond to call assignments within the 30-minute response window and support emergencies such as STEMI/NSTEMI
- Support device procedures including pacemaker cases and assist with interventional radiology patients as needed
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (eligible for submissions required)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; cath lab experience is required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and a 30-minute response expectation
- Willingness to work combined cath/IR cases and learn IR skills if not already experienced
Education
- Active RN license (state license required for submission)
- BSN not required (Associate degree or diploma acceptable per job posting)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient monitoring and peri-procedural care skills
- Experience charting in Epic (EpicCare Inpatient) and familiarity with MacLab and Siemens equipment
- Hands-on circulating skills in cath lab procedures and pacemaker management
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with acute care protocols for STEMI and NSTEMI patients
