Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and accurate documentation for assigned patients
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and report changes promptly
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and follow individualized care plans
- Perform routine clinical procedures such as wound care and catheter management
- Support patient education and discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions
- Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (required)
- Must be local/commutable to Marshwood Ctr in Lewiston (Notes: LOCAL ONLY)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program; completion of state-required clinical training
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic charting
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
