Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to restore mobility and function
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions that improve strength, balance, and independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Document patient progress and update care plans clearly and promptly
- Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety strategies to support recovery
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington state or eligible for licensure in Washington
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum relevant clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient-centered care approach
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with caregivers and clinical teams
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across different levels of patient acuity
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with musculoskeletal and neurological rehab techniques
- Skilled in gait training, balance retraining, and therapeutic exercise prescription
- Familiarity with outcome measures and functional assessment tools
- Comfortable documenting in electronic health records and maintaining accurate charts
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize patient needs
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
