Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day). Primary 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with possible 8/10/12-hour day variations. On-call expectation: 4-5 calls per month with approximately one weekend on-call per month.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and the cath lab for procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
- Assist physicians during EP, IR and cardiac cath procedures with critical technical support
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment, troubleshooting to keep cases running smoothly
- Accurately document procedural details in Epic and maintain thorough patient records
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams in a high-volume Level I Trauma environment
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergent procedural needs
- Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI required
- Current BLS certification required
- Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant cath/EP/IR lab experience
- Comfortable working in multiple-lab operations and high-acuity (Level I Trauma) settings
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation (4-5 calls/month, ~1 weekend/month)
- License to submit: yes; orientation: 12 hours
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with cardiac catheterization and cath lab procedures
- Familiarity with electrophysiology (EP) and interventional radiology (IR) cases
- Proficient with Epic (EMR) charting and documentation
- Skilled with cath lab equipment setup, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Comfort managing high daily case volumes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork, communication and patient-centered care approach
