Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs and design individualized plans
• Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy that supports academic success
• Develop, update, and implement IEP goals and progress monitoring
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress notes
• Provide consultations and strategies for classroom staff to support communication access
• Participate in meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered school culture

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) — required
• Colorado State SLP license — required
• Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certificate — accepted if pending at hire
• Comfort and ability to work 100% in person in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school teams

Education

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent professional training typically required for CCC-SLP)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in school-based assessment and generating actionable IEP goals
• Proficiency with evidence-based therapy approaches for a range of speech and language needs
• Effective progress monitoring and professional documentation practices
• Collaborative mindset for working within multidisciplinary teams
• Comfort engaging with students of varied ages and learning profiles
