Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist MRI technologists with patient prep and positioning to ensure high-quality imaging
• Support safe patient transport and care, maintaining dignity and comfort throughout the visit
• Operate and assist with GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment under supervision
• Manage patient flow for approximately nine patients per shift to keep operations running smoothly
• Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic record (Meditech Expanse experience is a plus)
• Follow infection control, safety protocols and BLS procedures to protect patients and staff
• Communicate clearly with techs, nurses, and radiology staff to coordinate timely care
• Participate in on-call duties and coverages as required to support the department

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience (required)
• Experience with GE MRI equipment (HDXT 16.0 and 23.0) (required)
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years (required)
• Driver and reliable vehicle — traveler must have own vehicle
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and participate in on-call rotations
• Provide permanent address on profile and include any requested RTO at time of submission

Knowledge & Skills

• Magnetic Resonance Imaging fundamentals and patient safety practices
• Hands-on familiarity with GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI systems
• Basic documentation and charting skills; Meditech Expanse is a strong plus
• Patient positioning, transfer techniques and patient-centered communication
• Ability to work collaboratively in a two-person coverage model (never solo)
• Time management and the ability to support ~9 patients per shift
• Adaptability for evenings, weekends and on-call duties
