Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on acute care to patients as a certified CNA
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Accurately document care and observations in the patient record
• Support a smooth, collaborative handoff during rotating shifts and weekends
• Maintain professional standards and comply with Prometric Hawaii certification requirements

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Prometric Hawaii certification required and must be current
• Experience or comfort working in acute care settings preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts and every weekend as required by the schedule
• Reliable, patient-focused, and a strong team player

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in delivering safe, respectful patient care in acute care environments
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and clinical teams
• Good time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Adaptability to rotating schedules and changing patient needs
