Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical function and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to maximize mobility and independence
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment goals, and document outcomes clearly
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on home programs, injury prevention, and safe mobility
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements
• Advocate for patients’ needs and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in New Jersey or eligibility to obtain one
• Active BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team collaboration
• Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering compassionate care

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; or relevant degree with appropriate licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in developing and implementing PT treatment plans
• Skilled in therapeutic modalities, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise
• Comfortable with patient documentation and electronic medical records (EMR)
• Knowledge of current best practices in rehabilitation and functional outcomes
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and manage time effectively in a busy setting
• Strong patient education and motivational coaching abilities
