Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to identify strengths and needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
• Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions and adjust approaches as patients progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Document sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
• Provide family and caregiver education to support carryover of skills
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• State licensure in Maryland or ability to obtain licensure prior to start
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred, or documented clinical competency
• Experience with adult and/or pediatric caseloads in rehab or outpatient settings
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong documentation skills and comfort using electronic health records

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapy techniques and outcome measurement
• Excellent communication and patient-family education skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with PT, OT, nursing, and physicians
• Comfortable with clear, timely documentation and care planning
