Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and document vital signs and observe residents for any changes in condition
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
• Maintain accurate records and communicate status updates to nursing staff
• Support infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Valid authorization to work in Pennsylvania (if applicable)
• Comfortable providing direct resident care and following care plans
• Background check and standard health screenings per facility policy (typical for this role)
• Positive teamwork attitude and strong communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
• Understanding of infection control and basic safety practices
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents and clinical team
• Basic charting and documentation best practices
