Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and daily living support to residents
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to preserve dignity
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Accurately document care activities and vital signs in the medical record
• Support safe transfers and fall-prevention measures for patient safety
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver consistent, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (T-CNA or equivalent) — listed as required in the order
• Experience working in long-term care or similar residential settings preferred
• Comfortable working night shift hours and adapting to travel assignment rhythms
• Reliable, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
• Competent with vital signs, documentation, and care charting
• Infection control and safety-minded approach
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient/family interactions
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
