Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough resident assessments and document clinical findings clearly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and on schedule
• Notify MD or NP promptly with pertinent clinical information and collaborate on care plans
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents with attention to detail and compassion
• Provide ADL assistance and support residents to maximize independence and dignity
• Deliver specialized care including gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized treatments, CPAP support, tracheostomy care, and Wound VAC management
• Participate actively in the interdisciplinary team to coordinate high-quality long term care

Qualifications

• Current RN (Registered Nurse) license required; State of Hawaii nursing license must be active by start of assignment
• Experience working in Long Term Care settings preferred
• Flexible to work varied 8-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
• Willingness to accept a travel contract and complete required onboarding/licensure steps promptly

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assessments, treatments, and medication administration
• Comfortable with tracheostomy care, CPAP support, and respiratory treatments including nebulized therapy
• Experienced with gastrostomy tube care and urinary catheter management
• Competent in Wound VAC care and other advanced wound therapies
• Strong documentation, communication, and resident-centered care skills
• Ability to coordinate with MDs/NPs and the interdisciplinary team
