Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality abdominal and OB/GYN ultrasound exams using current imaging technology
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to capture diagnostic images that guide patient care
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication during imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and image archiving in the facility’s imaging systems
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards for ultrasound services
• Assist with departmental workflow and support cross-modality needs when appropriate

Qualifications

• ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/GYN (or equivalent) required upon submission
• Current, unencumbered Oregon Sonography license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider BLS required upon submission
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Professional, patient-focused communication and strong teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in abdominal and OB/GYN sonography techniques and protocols
• Familiarity with diagnostic imaging equipment and image optimization
• Understanding of patient positioning, anatomy, and sonographic anatomy
• Basic knowledge of PACS/EMR documentation and image archiving workflows
• Ability to follow safety and infection control procedures in imaging environments
