Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening shift; days not specified)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for geriatric residents
- Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote resident comfort and independence
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
- Document care accurately and maintain clear communication in patient charts
- Support mealtime assistance, hygiene, and comfort measures with dignity and respect
- Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification (required)
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred or willing to obtain)
- Previous experience in long-term care or working with older adults is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work evenings and reliably cover scheduled shifts
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- GNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and elder needs
- Safe resident transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Basic vital signs measurement and recognition of clinical changes
- Infection control practices and safe hygiene procedures
- Accurate documentation and charting skills
- Teamwork, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills
