Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, primary Night shift 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, typically 3 shifts per week; schedule may include nights, days, weekends and holidays as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Triage and assess emergency patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care
- Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to stabilize and treat acute conditions
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document care in the medical record
- Collaborate closely with physicians, techs and the ED team to coordinate timely patient flow
- Perform ongoing patient monitoring and reassessment to identify changes and escalate concerns
- Prepare patients for procedures and transfers, ensuring seamless handoffs and clear communication
- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement through accurate reporting and participation in unit initiatives
- Support and mentor colleagues during busy shifts to maintain high-quality care
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) required
- Emergency Department (ED) experience required
- Comfortable and able to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- ENPC preferred (listed as an additional preferred certification)
- Strong clinical judgment, ability to triage effectively and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate in a fast-paced ED
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of emergency triage and acute patient assessment
- Ability to prioritize care and make quick clinical decisions
- Proficient documentation and care coordination in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled at working with multidisciplinary teams to expedite patient care
- Calm, efficient approach to high-acuity and high-volume situations
