Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a 9-bed rural Emergency Department
• Perform rapid assessment and triage of patients presenting with acute conditions
• Administer medications, treatments and interventions per protocols and orders
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers and team members to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using T-System EMR
• Advocate for patient safety and communicate clearly with families and caregivers
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• TNCC, PALS, ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience working in an Emergency Department (ER) — rural ER experience is a plus
• Comfort and competence with electronic charting in T-System EMR
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a small, fast-paced ER environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
