Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy procedures with excellent patient care and attention to detail
• Operate O-ARM, C-Arm, portable radiography units and PACS to capture high-quality images
• Prepare and administer contrast media per established protocols and monitor patients for reactions
• Ensure radiation safety and infection prevention standards are met for patients and staff
• Provide accurate patient positioning and bedside/portable imaging in ICU, ED and OR settings
• Document procedures and maintain clear charting in the unit’s systems
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and interdisciplinary teams to support timely, informed care
• Adapt to trauma and mobile/surgical cases with calm, competent performance under pressure

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification preferred (certs listed in job data)
• California CRT licensure (or eligibility) required/preferred per facility guidelines
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of radiography/fluoroscopy experience
• Travel experience required — comfortable working contract assignments
• Experience with fluoroscopic studies (arthrography, ERCP, myelography, upper GI, contrast enemas) preferred
• Comfortable working across settings: Adult Acute Care, ED, ICU, OR, pediatric outpatient and bedside/portable procedures

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluoroscopy and diagnostic radiography techniques
• Operation of O-ARM, C-Arm, GE and Philips imaging equipment
• Portable/bedside imaging and trauma imaging proficiency
• PACS image management and electronic charting familiarity
• Preparation and administration of contrast media
• Radiation safety principles and infection prevention practices
• Strong patient positioning skills for spine, chest, abdomen, extremities and specialty studies
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments like ED, ICU and OR
