Shift Type: Varies (days not specified), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Night shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Support safe mobility and transfer techniques to keep residents comfortable and secure
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff promptly
- Help with meal service and ensure dietary needs and preferences are respected
- Document care activities clearly and accurately in resident records
- Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required
- Comfortable working with older adults; experience in long-term care or assisted living is a plus
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
- Physical ability to assist with transfers and perform hands-on resident care
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in providing ADL support and respectful personal care
- Familiarity with infection control and proper PPE use
- Ability to take and record basic vital signs accurately
- Good observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
- Team-oriented mindset and solid time-management skills
- Comfortable documenting care in electronic or paper charting systems
