Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Harbor Hill Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to orders
• Perform timely assessments and document observations clearly in the care record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with patients, families, and staff
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges with attention to continuity of care
• Maintain infection control practices and uphold facility standards for safety

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing (required)
• Minimum clinical experience preferred; new grads may be considered depending on role
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other certifications welcomed
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a care team
• Comfort with electronic health records and accurate documentation practices
• Commitment to patient safety, dignity, and high-quality care

Education

• Licensed Practical Nurse: LPN diploma or equivalent and active LPN license
• Registered Nurse: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and active RN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration, and monitoring
• Assessment and clinical decision-making skills appropriate to LPN/RN scope
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced long-term care setting
• Skilled in documentation, care planning, and following physician orders
• Competence with common clinical equipment and infection prevention practices
• Professional interpersonal skills for collaborating with residents, families, and staff
