Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and support their daily needs
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while maintaining clear documentation
• Monitor residents’ status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and providers to deliver coordinated care plans
• Support rehabilitation goals and assist with mobility, ADLs, and restorative care
• Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control best practices

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in Massachusetts)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification or willingness to obtain promptly
• Experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work night shifts and contribute to a positive unit culture
• Pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• LPN: Practical Nursing diploma or certificate
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and accurate clinical documentation
• Resident assessment and monitoring skills
• Familiarity with long-term care and rehabilitation nursing practices
• Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Basic electronic medical record (EMR) charting experience preferred
