Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents and patients at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to facility policies
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and follow individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and recovery goals
• Monitor and report clinical changes to ensure timely interventions and positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in the facility’s medical record system
• Support a positive, respectful environment that promotes dignity and comfort for every resident

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Massachusetts (LPN or RN licensure required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or other advanced certifications a plus
• Clinical nursing experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Proof of immunizations and any facility-required health screenings

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (diploma/certificate)
• RN: Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor nursing program (ADN/BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Experience with wound care, ADL support, and restorative nursing approaches
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, physicians, and support staff
