Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT procedures, both invasive and non-invasive, with accuracy and care
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation procedures and exercise independent judgment to produce diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and informed consent throughout imaging procedures
• Maintain clear, accurate patient and imaging documentation in line with facility policies
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the clinical team to support timely patient care
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and departmental protocols
• Assume additional designated responsibilities and float to other units as needed

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification (required)
• Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA) (required)
• Active Ohio Radiologic Technologist license (must be current/active)
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience (required)
• Siemens CT experience highly preferred
• Current work history and up-to-date skills checklist relevant to CT (within last 12 months) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT procedures and cross-sectional anatomy
• Familiarity with ionizing radiation principles and safety practices
• Experience with Siemens CT scanners preferred
• Proficient patient positioning, image acquisition, and quality control
• Comfortable using PACS and electronic patient records
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Adaptability to float to other units and handle changing clinical needs
