Shift Type: 5 days/week, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM (Day); 8-hour day shift (option for 10-hour days if preferred)

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, evaluate, and provide developmentally appropriate occupational therapy interventions for infants, children, and adolescents
- Conduct developmental testing and design individualized treatment plans that make a measurable difference
- Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic to maintain continuity of care and strong interdisciplinary communication
- Create and update Plans of Care, complete reassessments, and coordinate timely discharges
- Support outpatient clinic flow and float into acute care when census requires — bringing pediatric expertise to the hospital floor
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide functional strategies for activities of daily living and early intervention goals
- Contribute to quality patient care by participating in team huddles and care planning
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (state licensure required) — please maintain active, unrestricted licensure
- Minimum ~1 year of clinical experience preferred; facility notes enough experience to be proficient and independent and first-time travelers are accepted
- BLS preferred
- Experience or comfort charting in Epic is preferred
- Comfort working with pediatric populations, including autism and developmental delay diagnoses
- Ability to float into acute care settings when outpatient census is low
Education
- Occupational Therapy degree appropriate for state licensure (specific degree not stated in posting; licensure required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Pediatric evaluation and treatment, including developmental testing/treatment
- Early intervention strategies and activities of daily living (ADL) training
- Experience with Autism-related interventions
- Strong billing/documentation practices and familiarity with plan-of-care workflows
- Reassessments, discharge planning, and care coordination
- Charting in Epic (preferred)
- Working effectively in both outpatient pediatric clinic and acute care environments
