Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour nights). Specific days of week not specified by the facility.

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms to keep patients safe and stable
- Provide high-quality patient care including assessments, treatments, and documentation in the EMR
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient-centered care
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Support unit workflow and mentor less-experienced staff to promote a positive team environment
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be eligible to practice in the assignment state)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience (as noted in the job posting)
- Telemetry experience required, comfortable working with cardiac monitoring and related equipment
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with an outgoing, team-oriented personality
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Patient assessment and bedside care for medical-surgical/telemetry populations
- Proficient use of EMR for accurate documentation
- Familiarity with lifts, gait belts, wheelchairs and other mobility equipment
- Effective communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
