Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status and provide compassionate, timely nursing care
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Document patient progress and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Perform wound care, vital signs monitoring, and routine nursing procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and allied staff to implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Advocate for patient needs and contribute to a positive, healing environment

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing (state licensure required)
• Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts (start time 7:00 AM, end time 7:30 PM)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable working in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
• Previous LPN experience preferred but motivated new grads with clinical experience are encouraged to apply

Education

• LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited nursing program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medication administration and documentation standards
• Skilled in vital signs assessment, wound care, and routine nursing procedures
• Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety protocols
• Competent with electronic medical records and clear clinical charting
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a calm, patient-centered approach
