Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret a broad mix of general radiology studies for hospital and outpatient locations with accuracy and timeliness
• Dictate clear, actionable reports using Epic/PowerScribe and manage images in PACS
• Collaborate closely with emergency, inpatient and outpatient clinical teams to support excellent patient care
• Participate in departmental quality improvement and peer review activities to advance practice standards
• Provide supervision and mentorship to support staff and trainees when applicable
• Maintain thorough documentation and follow institutional protocols for patient safety and reporting

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Ability to obtain a Massachusetts medical license (or already licensed in MA)
• Experience with Epic, PowerScribe, and PACS preferred
• Comfortable interpreting a broad range of modalities seen in general radiology practice
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams

Education

• MD or DO
• Completion of Diagnostic Radiology residency
• Board certified or board eligible (Diagnostic Radiology)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven ability to interpret general radiology studies (acute care and outpatient cases)
• Familiarity with Epic for clinical documentation and PowerScribe for reporting
• Proficient use of PACS for image review and workflow efficiency
• Excellent clinical judgment, attention to detail, and time management
• Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with clinicians, technologists, and support staff
