Shift Type: Per-diem nights, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, days vary (Night)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Assist residents with safe transfers and ambulation, keeping dignity and independence front and center
- Take and record basic vital signs accurately and promptly
- Follow care plans and communicate changes in condition to nursing staff
- Help create a calm, friendly environment that promotes resident comfort and quality of life
- Document care provided in a clear, timely manner to support continuity and safety
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- GNA certification required (Geriatric Nursing Assistant)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and assisting with physical tasks
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing helpful but not required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certificate or state-recognized geriatric nursing assistant training
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic resident care and activities of daily living
- Familiarity with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation skills
- Infection prevention practices and proper PPE use
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
- Ability to follow written care plans and communicate effectively with nursing staff
