Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care and ensure comfort and safety during the shift.
• Perform timely assessments, monitor vital signs, and report clinical changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge planning to support recovery.
• Adhere to infection control standards and maintain a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in New Mexico (or eligible for licensure) — bring your license and confidence.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Clinical experience in a similar care setting is preferred; we welcome experienced and newer clinicians alike.
• Strong assessment, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling.

Education

• LPN: Practical nursing diploma or certificate from an accredited program.
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration, and patient assessment.
• Experience with documentation in electronic medical records and charting best practices.
• Skilled at prioritizing patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Good clinical judgment, professional communication, and teamwork.
• Familiarity with infection control, safety protocols, and basic emergency response.
