Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to build clear, individualized treatment plans
- Design and deliver evidence-based treatment programs that improve daily function
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide training in adaptive techniques and equipment for daily living skills
- Perform home assessments and recommend environmental adaptations
- Deliver sensorimotor integration and visual perceptual-motor remediation therapies
- Administer prevocational and prosthetic training to support return-to-work and independence
- Educate patients and families on energy conservation, joint protection, safety, and transfer techniques
- Collaborate with schools, nursing homes, and other community agencies as a clinical consultant
- Participate in quality improvement activities and department in-services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Current WA State Occupational Therapist license required (or actively in process of obtaining)
- One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to complete mandatory education and maintain regulatory requirements
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor representing the organization
- Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role and follow safety/HIPAA guidelines
Education
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy

- Skilled documentation and reporting of clinical progress
- Splinting and upper-extremity prosthetic training
- Adaptive equipment recommendations and training
- Therapeutic exercises and sensorimotor integration techniques
- Visual perceptual-motor remediation strategies
- Home assessment and environmental modification
- Prevocational program design and implementation
- Energy conservation, joint protection, and safe transfer techniques
- Strong reasoning, math literacy, and professional communication
