Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, day shift with rotating weekend coverage
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities using evidence-based methods
- Develop individualized treatment plans that address meaningful goals for each patient
- Deliver high-quality therapy sessions with empathy and clinical skill
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to ensure coordinated care
- Document progress and outcomes thoroughly and timely to support clinical decisions
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers to maximize carryover and functional gains
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development and quality improvement
Qualifications
- State license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or in progress
- Clinical experience in rehabilitation, acute care, or related settings preferred
- Strong patient-centered communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and manage caseload independently
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Professional demeanor, reliable documentation skills, and commitment to best practices
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in evaluating and treating speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Familiarity with standardized assessment tools and outcome measures
- Experience with treatment approaches for adult and/or pediatric populations
- Proficient documentation and electronic medical record navigation
- Strong clinical reasoning and goal-driven treatment planning
- Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication strategies is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and team members
