Shift Type: Per diem (days as scheduled), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift (day)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to geriatric residents, supporting daily living activities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while preserving resident dignity
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
- Help with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Support mealtime assistance and document intake as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification or equivalent as required by state regulations
- Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living
- Familiarity with infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Comfort with documentation and following care plans
- Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
