Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NIGHT
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the clinical team
- Support safe and dignified mobility and transfers for patients
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
- Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a clean, safe environment
- Collaborate with nurses and other caregivers to deliver excellent patient-centered care
- Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful communication
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Current CNA authorization or licensure valid in New Mexico
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings as required by facility
- Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented with good communication skills
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Comfortable obtaining and recording vital signs accurately
- Knowledge of basic infection prevention and patient safety practices
- Familiarity with patient transfer and mobility techniques
- Strong observational skills and ability to report clinical changes
- Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
