Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality abdominal, vascular and OB/GYN ultrasound examinations using established protocols
• Capture diagnostic-quality images and document findings accurately in the patient record
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring daily QC and safe operation
• Provide compassionate, clear communication to patients before, during and after exams
• Work independently to manage patient flow, time priorities and exam completion
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support timely patient care
• Maintain compliance with ARDMS standards, facility policies and infection-control practices

Qualifications

• Double ARDMS registries: General AB (Abdominal), Vascular, and OB/GYN (as required)
• Current ARDMS certification(s) in listed specialties
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a variable schedule
• Prior sonography experience in abdominal, vascular and OB/GYN imaging (as applicable)
• Strong communication skills and professional bedside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy and sonographic techniques
• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment operation and quality control
• Comfortable performing a wide range of scans: ABD, vascular, OB/GYN
• Familiarity with electronic health records and imaging documentation
• Excellent patient positioning, time management and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety, infection control and professional standards
