Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the unit with clear, compassionate leadership that supports staff and patients
- Coordinate patient care across disciplines to ensure safe, timely outcomes
- Manage daily unit operations including staffing, workflow, and quality standards
- Mentor and develop nursing staff — coach, counsel, and celebrate team wins
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary partners
- Ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and adherence to policies
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Demonstrated unit management or leadership experience
- Comfortable working Monday–Friday day shifts
- Strong communication and team-building abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and high professional standards
Education
- Nursing diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or BSN
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize patient safety
- Leadership and people-management skills
- Effective communication across clinical teams and with families
- Familiarity with unit workflows, staffing coordination, and quality metrics
- Organizational skills for operational and documentation tasks
