Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with skill and confidence
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and adjust interventions as needed
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate excellent patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about conditions, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient status and interventions clearly in the medical record
• Advocate for patients’ needs while maintaining a calm and professional presence

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license (state-specific licensure may be required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred when relevant
• Clinical experience as an RN; travel or contract experience is a plus
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit care team
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Experience with medication administration and IV therapy
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and clear documentation practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and clinical teams
