Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with skill and confidence
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and adjust interventions as needed
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate excellent patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about conditions, care plans, and discharge instructions
- Document patient status and interventions clearly in the medical record
- Advocate for patients’ needs while maintaining a calm and professional presence
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license (state-specific licensure may be required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred when relevant
- Clinical experience as an RN; travel or contract experience is a plus
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit care team
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Experience with medication administration and IV therapy
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and clear documentation practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and clinical teams
