Roles & Responsibilities

• Transport instruments, supplies, equipment, and patient-care materials safely and on time between hospital campuses
• Support sterile processing tasks including case cart assembly and instrument handling under department guidelines
• Manage inventory control: receiving, stocking, and accurate storage according to manufacturer and regulatory requirements
• Assist with storage and distribution workflows to keep clinical teams supplied and patients cared for
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow department procedures to ensure quality and compliance
• Operate as a reliable courier: follow safe driving practices and use facility vehicles as required for deliveries

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an SPT/CSRT Aide (required) — you know the basics of sterile processing support
• Clean driving record and insurable driver status (DMV report required during compliance) — must have your own vehicle
• Active American Heart Association BLS (required) — keep your certification current
• One supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years (required)
• Complete and up-to-date work history and Sterile Reprocessing skills checklist (within past year) at profile upload
• Previous travel experience preferred — helpful but not mandatory

Knowledge & Skills

• Practical knowledge of sterile processing workflows and case cart assembly
• Materials handling and inventory control best practices
• Safe instrument/equipment transport techniques and attention to detail
• Strong time management and reliability for on-time deliveries
• Good communication and teamwork when supporting perioperative and sterile processing staff
• Ability to follow manufacturer, department, and regulatory guidelines
