Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients, monitoring and responding to changes in condition
• Interpret EKGs and utilize advanced cardiac life support when needed
• Administer medications, manage infusions, and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform assessments, interventions, and patient education with compassion and clinical precision
• Participate in unit-based policies, safety initiatives, and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Valid RN license (must be able to verify Texas licensure)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated critical care or ICU skills; comfort managing complex patients
• Successful completion of VHC EKG exam and license/certificate verification
• Compliance with required health screenings and vaccinations (COVID-19 vaccine, TB test, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, influenza, drug screen, fit test, health statement)
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
