Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct nursing care to residents as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes promptly to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Educate residents and families on care plans and follow-up instructions
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
- Maintain clear, timely, and professional documentation in the patient record
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — current, active license required
- Local candidates only (position is local-only)
- Comfortable working the listed schedule: Sunday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
- Ability to pass facility-required background checks and screenings
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN / practical nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Patient assessment and clinical observation skills
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members
- Proficient documentation and attention to detail
- Familiarity with infection prevention and basic safety practices
