Location: Durango, CO

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating shifts: Day shifts — 10-hour shifts with variable start times (6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM); Night shifts — 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) with rotating patterns (3 or 4 shifts per week, alternating 3 one week / 4 the next). Schedule includes weekend coverage and call-as-needed.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality general X-ray exams for ED, outpatient and inpatient populations
- Operate fluoroscopy and C-arm equipment safely and effectively during procedures
- Provide portable X-ray services as needed across the facility
- Document studies and results accurately in EPIC and manage images in Fuji Synapse/PACS
- Collaborate with on-site radiologists and the clinical team to prioritize urgent studies
- Maintain radiation safety protocols and ensure proper use of radiation monitoring badge
- Deliver patient-centered care: prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS (AHA) current certification required
- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience (fluoroscopy, general x-ray, C-arm, portable preferred)
- Comfortable using EPIC and Fuji Synapse/PACS; experience with GE imaging equipment
- Able to work variable shifts including weekends and night rotations
- Must be available in-state for the week of orientation (remote modules may be used)
- Driver's license must be submitted (60 mile radius requirement)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in general radiography and fluoroscopy techniques
- Experienced operating C-arm and portable X-ray units
- Familiarity with EPIC charting and Fuji Synapse/PACS image management
- Strong patient positioning, radiation safety, and infection control practices
- Ability to prioritize high-volume workflows (20–30 studies/day average)
- Good communication skills for coordinating with ED, inpatient teams and radiologists
