Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in an acute care setting, focusing on safety and dignity
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility
• Measure and record vital signs and report any changes in patient condition promptly
• Document care accurately and timely in patient charts and communicate effectively with the nursing team
• Support admissions, transfers and discharges with attention to comfort and detail
• Maintain infection control practices and a clean, orderly patient environment
• Collaborate with nurses and other clinical staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Experience in acute care preferred; strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to rotating schedules
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass facility background checks and meet health screening requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in basic patient care and assisting with activities of daily living
• Skilled at taking and documenting vital signs and recognizing clinical changes
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and safe patient handling
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced acute care environment
