Roles & Responsibilities

Provide hands-on patient care with compassion and professionalism
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report significant changes
Support nursing team with safe transfers and positioning
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate patient needs to the care team
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable performing patient lifting and mobility tasks safely
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and required onboarding

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completed CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL support
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control principles and PPE use
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
