Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Support nursing staff with vital signs, documentation, and timely reporting of changes
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Build rapport with residents and families through respectful communication
Assist with transfers, mobility support, and falls prevention measures

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and resident care best practices
Skill in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Familiarity with charting/documentation standards
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team
Compassion, attention to detail, and good time management
