Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to family medicine patients
• Perform thorough assessments, triage, and documentation to support excellent clinical outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to clinic protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, and front-office staff to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record and support clinic workflow efficiency

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California (required)
• BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Heart Association) (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (required)
• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program (required)
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required

Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and patient-monitoring skills
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and the care team
• Comfortable with routine family medicine procedures and documentation
• Basic life support knowledge and emergency preparedness
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy outpatient clinic environment
• Cultural sensitivity and patient education skills; Spanish language a plus
