Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with professionalism and empathy
• Perform thorough assessments and develop appropriate nursing interventions
• Administer medications and therapies safely and according to protocol
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Document patient status and interventions clearly and promptly in the EHR
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and self-care after discharge
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Support unit goals by contributing to quality improvement and safe practice initiatives

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of assignment (compact license accepted where applicable)
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, or specialty certifications preferred as appropriate
• Clinical nursing experience in a relevant setting is preferred
• Comfortable using electronic health records and standard clinical documentation tools
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to pass facility credentialing and background checks

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and completion of required clinicals

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization
• Medication administration and IV/infusion experience
• Familiarity with common EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
• Basic life support and emergency response skills
• Time management, organization, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and documentation best practices
