Shift Type: Rotating nights, 9:30 PM - 7:30 AM (10-hour shifts; rotation schedule varies)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform routine and special clinical laboratory assays across multiple disciplines (microscopic, chemical, hematological, immunologic, bacteriologic)
- Calibrate, operate, and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment
- Process, label, and handle patient specimens accurately to preserve sample integrity
- Run and interpret quality control procedures and document results according to established standards
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate critical findings to the care team
- Follow laboratory safety protocols and contribute to a culture of accuracy and patient safety
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (required)
- American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification (required)
- Successful completion of a supervised one-year clinical internship (required)
- Experience with EPIC (preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
- Able to safely function in a high-elevation environment (~8,000 ft)
Education
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical laboratory assays (microscopic, chemical, hematological, immunologic, bacteriologic)
- Instrument calibration and equipment operation
- Preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting
- Specimen processing, labeling, and chain-of-custody best practices
- Familiarity with EPIC or similar lab information systems (preferred)
- Effective communication with clinical teams and attention to detail
