Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to rehab patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary staff to support rehabilitation goals
• Document patient care and progress clearly and promptly in the medical record
• Support discharge planning and patient education to promote independence

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing
• Clinical experience in acute or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts and provide reliable coverage for the contract period
• Willingness to comply with facility onboarding requirements and background checks

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN/ADN) or PN program; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and safety practices
• Familiarity with rehab nursing principles and mobility support
• Clear documentation and electronic medical record (EMR) comfort
• Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical environment
