Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies using GE and Siemens equipment with attention to patient safety and image integrity
• Start IVs as needed and manage contrast administration following facility protocols
• Operate and optimize CT scanner settings and protocols for a wide variety of studies
• Accurately document exams and patient information in Epic and archive images in Fuji Synapse PACS
• Collaborate with radiologists and the radiology team to ensure prompt, accurate results
• Provide compassionate patient care, including positioning, monitoring, and clear communication
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards at all times
• Support outpatient coverage and float as needed to meet department needs

Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience
• Proven ability to start IVs and manage contrast administration
• Experience with Epic and Fuji Synapse PACS strongly preferred
• GE and Siemens scanner experience preferred
• Available to work weekends and holidays as required
• Valid driver’s license must be submitted for radius compliance
• Able to be in-state for the week of orientation

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent
• ARRT (CT) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT imaging protocols, patient positioning, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Hands-on experience with GE and Siemens CT scanner platforms
• Comfortable using Epic for charting and Fuji Synapse for image management
• Strong IV insertion skills and contrast media knowledge
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced trauma level 1 environment
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload (average ~25 scans/day) while maintaining quality
• Familiarity with radiation safety principles and infection control practices
