Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-focused personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Safely assist with mobility, transfers and positioning to promote independence
- Take and document vital signs and report meaningful changes to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate and timely resident records and care documentation
- Support infection control, safety protocols and a clean care environment
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team
- Contribute to a positive culture by supporting admissions, discharges and shift transitions
Qualifications
- Active LNA certification (Licensed Nursing Assistant) — VT/NH designation noted in the posting
- Local candidates only — must have reliable personal transportation
- Must provide your own housing for the assignment (local requirement)
- Available to work both weekends as needed
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program and active LNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong resident-centered care and bedside manner
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for documentation and handoffs
- Comfortable performing ADLs, transfers and basic mobility assistance
- Basic infection control and safety practices
- Able to prioritize tasks and work effectively within a team
