Candidate Pay Rate: $158 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality outpatient family medicine care for adults and children
- Manage a typical outpatient caseload (~20 patients per day) with efficiency and compassion
- Document assessments and plans in the Heathland EHR accurately and promptly
- Participate in after-hours clinic call on a rotating schedule to support continuity of care
- Collaborate closely with medical assistants, reception staff, and onsite imaging services
- Order, interpret, and act on point-of-care testing and in-building diagnostic imaging
- Communicate clearly with patients and families about treatment plans and follow-up
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
- Valid Michigan medical license or ability to obtain state licensure in a timely manner
- DEA registration or ability to obtain a DEA number
- Experience in outpatient family medicine including pediatric care
- BLS required; ACLS helpful
- Comfortable using Heathland EHR or similar electronic medical records
Education
- MD or DO; completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Family Medicine residency
Knowledge & Skills
- Comprehensive family medicine knowledge across the lifespan (adult and pediatric outpatient care)
- Proficiency with Heathland (EHR) or similar clinical documentation systems
- Strong clinical decision-making and acute care stabilization skills
- Ability to manage call responsibilities and triage patients appropriately
- Excellent patient communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with point-of-care testing and basic interpretation of diagnostic imaging
