Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients as an RN or LPN in the facility
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update care plans
• Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely
• Support patients and families with education and emotional support during their stay

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN or LPN) — able to practice in New Mexico
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card preferred or willingness to obtain
• Clinical experience in acute care settings is desirable
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to varied schedules during the 9-week assignment
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN or LPN program)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and IV/infusion knowledge
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting
• Infection control and patient safety practices
• Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
